Senior Electrical Engineer

Overview
Creare concentrates on advanced research and development, delivering analysis, design, experimental, computational, product, and consulting services to industry and government. We are seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer with strong experience in space systems and military applications. This role places you within Creare's interdisciplinary team, collaborating with electrical, mechanical, and software engineers and skilled technicians to bring R and D concepts to life in lab and field environments. The position is based in Hanover, New Hampshire 03755.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and integrate complex electrical systems for mission critical applications.
- Collaborate with cross functional teams to ensure system level performance and compliance with requirements.
- Support proposal development and customer engagement efforts, providing technical insight to business development activities.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership across projects.
- Ensure designs meet applicable military or aerospace standards and customer requirements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field is required.
- Minimum 10 years of relevant experience.
- Extensive experience in business development and program management, ideally within the defense, aerospace, or high tech sectors.
- Strong understanding of system integration, testing, and qualification processes.
- Familiarity with industry standards and regulatory requirements for aerospace and defense products, including AS9100.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Compensation and Benefits
Salary starts at $140,000 per year and increases based on level of education completed and years of relevant work experience.
