RPG Developer

Datanational Corporation seeks a full-time United States based RPG Developer for IBM i (AS/400). This hybrid role supports RPG programming and application analysis, including ERP changes and ongoing EDI transaction support, with post-live system and user assistance plus after-hours on-call coverage.

Role Responsibilities

• Develop custom RPG programs as needed, including user exit programs.
• Prepare ERP system changes for the production environment.
• Provide post-live date system and user support.
• Maintain ongoing support for EDI transactions.
• Perform analysis, design, and support for mission-critical applications, including integration with multiple vendor published software packages.
• Support the Operations Help-desk by responding to application questions from end-users.
• Provide after-hours (on-call) support at least one week per month.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of three years of experience as an RPG Developer with AS/400 knowledge.
• Strong communication skills.
• Good organizational skills.
• Effective analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to provide after-hours remote on-call support.

Preferred (Nice to Have)

• Manufacturing experience.
• CMS ERP system experience.
• EDI / TrustedLink (TLI) Cleo Lexicon communication packages.

Compensation and Job Details

• Salary: USD 72,800 per yearly (starting at $72,800.00)
