Receiver, Exciter, & Processing Architecture Software Engineer II - Onsite

This role supports the Receiver Exciter and Processing Architecture Department by designing, architecting, and implementing signal processing algorithms for next-generation radar systems. The work is performed on high-performance processing platforms and includes system integration across distributed, heterogeneous environments running Linux.

What You Will Do

• Conduct system integration activities on distributed heterogeneous signal processing systems running Linux.
• Write, test, and integrate C++ embedded and/or real-time signal processing algorithms and control functions.
• Resolve defects and maintain or update existing codebases.
• Evaluate numerical accuracy, runtime latency, and other relevant system metrics.
• Partner with systems, hardware, and other software engineers to understand and implement end-user requirements.
• Support code reviews, static analysis, and continuous integration to maintain high code quality.

Required Qualifications

• Masters degree in Electrical Engineering or a related Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) major.
• C++ software development experience.
• Experience using Linus.
• Experience may be demonstrated through on-the-job experience, research, coursework, or projects.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with developer tools, including Git, CMake, GoogleTest, gdb, profilers, Jira, Jenkins, and UML.
• Embedded software development experience.
• Object-Oriented Analysis and Design (OOAD).
• Experience with scripting, including Python, shell, and bash.

Security Clearance Requirements

• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required.
• U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
• DoD Clearance type: Secret.
• Security clearance status: Active and existing security clearance required after day 1.

Location and Work Setting

Onsite position in Marlborough, MA, United States. Onsite employees work primarily onsite, including production and maintenance employees essential to product development.

Compensation

Estimated salary range: USD 68,900 - 131,100 per year.
