Mobile Application Developer
Job Description
Adidev Technologies Inc is hiring an entry to mid-level Mobile Application Developer to enhance and debug large-scale mobile applications for a well-known client. The role supports both iOS and Android development, and it includes client-based assignments that may require relocation.

Compensation
USD 30 to 40 per hourly
Role Responsibilities
- Enhance and debug large-scale mobile applications for one of the company’s well-known clients.
Required Experience
The position requires at least 1 years of experience. iOS and Android experience expectations are split as follows.
- Android: Java (1-2 years), Kotlin (1 year), Android SDK, Play Store.
- iOS: Swift (1-2 years), Objective-C (1-2 years), iOS SDK, App Store.
Android Qualifications and Skills
- At least 1 years of experience with Java and Kotlin.
- At least 1 application published to the Play Store, demonstrating familiarity with the release process.
- Strong knowledge of the Android SDK, differences across Android versions, and supporting different screen sizes.
- Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning.
- Knowledge of the open-source Android ecosystem and libraries commonly used for standard tasks.
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect Android apps to back-end services.
- Comfortable with Git and source control.
- Strong self-management and time management, supported by a solid work ethic.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
iOS Qualifications and Skills
- Proficiency with Swift and Objective-C (knowledge and hands-on), plus Cocoa Touch.
- Experience with iOS frameworks such as Core Data and Core Animation.
- Experience implementing design patterns such as MVC and Singleton.
- Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning.
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs for connecting iOS applications to back-end services.
- Familiarity with third-party API integrations, including Facebook, Dropbox, Instagram, Twitter, GoogleDrive, Bluetooth, and Keychain.
- Knowledge of other web technologies and UI/UX standards.
- Understanding of Apple design principles and interface guidelines.
- Knowledge of low-level C-based libraries is preferred.
- Experience with performance and memory tuning using tools such as Instruments and Shark (depending on project needs).
- Familiarity with cloud message APIs and push notifications.
- A knack for benchmarking and optimization.
- Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git, Mercurial, or SVN.
- Familiarity with continuous integration.
