Machine Learning Engineer - Ads Pangle - USDS

As a Machine Learning Engineer on TikTok USDS for Pangle ads, you will build and optimize bidding and ad-prediction models to support real-time advertising across a large-scale platform.

Responsibilities

• Develop and refine bidding algorithms and strategies across Pangle's ad delivery stack, covering targeting, retrieval, ranking, and bidding models to boost monetization efficiency and overall ad ROI.
• Enhance the performance and efficiency of large-scale, online-learning based deep models used in real-time advertising applications.
• Apply advanced modeling techniques and strategic thinking to improve attribution accuracy, delivery quality, and long-term ecosystem sustainability.
• Identify and drive innovative commercialization technologies and product solutions.
• Design, build, and iterate core ad prediction models such as CTR and CVR.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related technical disciplines.
• 1+ years of hands-on experience building and training complex, scalable machine learning systems.
• Strong computer science fundamentals (algorithms, data structures, software design) and problem-solving skills.
• Solid coding skills and a robust understanding of machine learning algorithms, particularly deep learning and ranking models.
• Experience leading or driving machine learning projects.

Job Information

Base salary range for this position in the selected city is USD 136,800 to USD 259,200 annually. Compensation may vary outside this range based on qualifications, skills, competencies, experience, and location.

Base pay is one component of the Total Package and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses or incentives, and restricted stock units.

Benefits may vary depending on the nature of employment and the country of work.
