Junior Software Engineer

VOCAL Technologies Inc. is hiring a Junior Software Engineer in Buffalo, NY for an onsite role focused on software development for the telecommunications space. In this position, you will work on building and supporting software solutions, including designing and implementing new functionality, maintaining existing systems, and creating tooling that helps teams build and maintain code over time.

You will collaborate with customers to align solutions with their needs, and you will contribute to software modules that are both meaningful in size and complexity, including development and testing. The work also involves building internal tools to support code building and maintenance activities.

Responsibilities

• Work with customers to deliver a solution that meets and exceeds their needs
• Design and implement software solutions for telecommunications problems
• Maintain and improve existing software solutions
• Code and test software modules of significant size and complexity
• Create software tools to aid in code building and maintenance

Requirements

• Bachelor's/Master's degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering
• Ability to obtain Security Clearance
• Familiarity with C/C++ programming languages

Compensation, Location, and Work Details

• Pay: USD $75,000 - $100,000 per year
• Work location: In person (Buffalo, NY)
• Commute/Work area: Buffalo, NY 14228 (Required)
