This is a multi-hire role for embedded and sensor-driven programs, including well known programs such as JASSM, LRASM, and EOTS, along with other classified initiatives that require engineers who can write drivers, work with hardware abstraction layer architectures, and support microservice style designs. If you enjoy building command and control code for sensors and performing hardware/software integration in classified labs, this opportunity is for you.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Develop embedded software in C++ and contribute to embedded operating systems in an Agile environment using JIRA, Git, and Confluence
  • Integrate algorithms into C/C++ applications
  • Plan, conduct, and coordinate software development activities
  • Design, develop, document, test, and debug software that provides solutions to mission problems using data processing equipment
  • Apply understanding of computer hardware and software, target application domains, and user requirements to develop software
  • Correct program errors, prepare operating instructions, document development work, and analyze system capabilities to resolve questions about program intent, output requirements, input data acquisition, programming techniques, and controls

Basic Qualifications

  • Technology: Embedded Software
  • Language: C++
  • Multi-core and multi-threaded programming
  • Experience with object oriented design
  • OS: Linux or VxWorks
  • Must have interim Secret clearance to start, with the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance
  • Must be a US citizen

  • Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour days, three days off per week
