Data engineer

Apex Fintech Solutions is seeking a Data Engineer to help build and operate the systems that keep data accurate, available, and fast. In this hybrid role based in Austin, TX, you will focus on improving data quality and reliability while designing pipelines and storage solutions that support business insights and financial services technology goals.

What you’ll do

• Design, build, and optimize data pipelines, ensuring they are robust and scalable for large-scale data handling.
• Develop and maintain real-time database systems and data warehousing solutions aligned with business needs.
• Work with stakeholders to understand data requirements and implement systems that support critical data analytics and business insights.
• Improve data quality and reliability through modern data management techniques and technologies.
• Identify and implement system optimizations to reduce downtime and improve data processing efficiency.
• Document data architecture processes and systems while following industry standards and company policies.
• Support data platform operations across all environments during business hours.

What you’ll bring

• Python proficiency and 2+ years of experience with Cloud Data technologies.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate large volumes of information with close attention to detail and accuracy.
• Experience with ETL processes using micro services.

Education and experience

• Minimum experience: 2 years
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field
