Job Description

Hybrid role in Newport Beach, CA supporting the CMD Division.

Ledgent Technology is hiring a Cloud Full Stack Developer II to drive complex, cloud-based software projects and deliver next-generation applications, data, and automation tools. You will work across engineering groups and partner with business and technical experts to turn requirements into working software that teams can use and iterate on.

Responsibilities

  • Lead complex software projects across multiple engineering groups across the company.
  • Analyze complex business problems, evaluate technology options, and build working prototypes to share.
  • Partner with the business and technical experts across the enterprise to evaluate solutions and prototype cutting-edge capabilities.
  • Act as a subject matter expert (SME) for modern cloud and software development tools, including discovery and incubation of new capabilities.
  • Take projects from requirements through delivery of working software for business and technology teams.
  • Mine large and complex datasets for insights and convert them into new product features.
  • Communicate complex concepts, results, and technical outcomes clearly and effectively.
  • Participate in peer reviews and collaborate with other architects across the enterprise.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent work experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in software development, data, and architecture design, with 2+ years of cloud and automation expertise.
  • Hands-on experience developing software, data integration, process automation, and API services in AWS.
  • Strong foundation in modern SDLC across technologies including AWS Services, RDBMS, NoSQL, Python, and C# on Windows and Linux.
  • Good working knowledge of automation, integration, and business process management solutions.
  • Experience contributing to a fast-paced agile software development team.
  • Ability to train, mentor, and develop technical skills of more junior automation engineers.
