Ab Initio Data Engineer
Job Description
Infosys, based in Charlotte, NC, is seeking an Ab Initio Data Engineer to join onsite. The role centers on capturing stakeholder needs, designing and documenting software, developing and testing applications, and integrating new features, all while keeping systems healthy through proactive collaboration across the software development lifecycle.
Responsibilities
- Conduct targeted interviews and workshops to gather user needs and ensure stakeholder requirements are accurately documented.
- Engage in design discussions to define software specifications and contribute to the creation of process documentation.
- Build, refine, and document code for new software applications, aligning with detailed design specifications to meet user requirements.
- Execute test plans, analyze results, and report defects to the development team to enhance software performance.
- Aid in the integration of new features, enabling smooth transitions within the existing system infrastructure.
- Monitor and troubleshoot live applications, resolve issues promptly, and produce comprehensive documentation for ongoing maintenance.
- Document coding practices, testing methodologies, and technical solutions to strengthen the team's knowledge base.
