Grow Pros Solutions seeks a hands-on WordPress Developer and Technical SEO Specialist to oversee, maintain, and enhance company websites with a focus on WordPress, technical SEO, Google Ads, and AI driven search optimization.
Responsibilities
- Build, maintain, update, and troubleshoot WordPress websites.
- Manage website pages, landing pages, plugins, themes, forms, redirects, and basic site functionality.
- Perform technical SEO setup and optimization, including sitemap setup and submission, robots.txt review, schema markup, canonical tags, indexing and crawling control, page speed optimization, and mobile usability improvements.
- Monitor website traffic, indexing issues, search performance, and user behavior using Google Search Console and Google Analytics.
- Set up and maintain Google Tag Manager, conversion tracking, and event tracking when needed.
- Conduct keyword research and optimize website pages for organic search.
- Improve site structure, internal linking, title tags, meta descriptions, heading structure, image alt text, and URL structure.
- Assist with Google Ads setup, landing page optimization, keyword planning, and performance tracking.
- Support AI SEO and AI search optimization, including optimization for Google AI Overviews, ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, and other AI driven search platforms.
- Collaborate with the sales and marketing team to enhance lead generation through website and search visibility.
- Review website content for accuracy, clarity, and SEO value.
- Provide regular reports on SEO performance, website issues, traffic trends, keyword rankings, and recommended improvements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in a computer-related field, such as Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Web Development.
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience with WordPress website setup, maintenance, troubleshooting, and optimization.
- Coding proficiency with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Basic understanding of PHP or WordPress theme and plugin structure.
- Hands-on SEO experience, especially technical SEO.
- Experience with Google Search Console, Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, and PageSpeed Insights.
- Understanding of Google Ads, keyword ads, landing pages, and conversion tracking.
- Familiarity with AI SEO, Generative Engine Optimization, Answer Engine Optimization, or AI search visibility strategies.
- Bilingual in English and Chinese.
