- Use MongoDB or document databases when they are the right choice
- Design and implement REST APIs; work with GraphQL when appropriate
- Integrate with third-party systems, data sources, authentication providers, and cloud services
- Use AI-assisted development tools for prototyping, coding, refactoring, testing, documentation, and delivery acceleration
- Evaluate agentic AI frameworks, LLM-based workflows, and automation patterns where they create real product value
- Collaborate closely with product, design, stakeholders, and other engineers
- Own quality through code review, automated testing, debugging, monitoring, and production support
- Build with security, performance, accessibility, and maintainability in mind, especially for public sector users
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science (hard requirement, no exceptions)
- 3+ years of professional software engineering experience in full-stack, product, or application development

- Ability to write clean, maintainable, testable code
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a small, fast-moving team
