This role seeks a seasoned Full Stack Java Developer holding TS/SCI clearance with polygraph, stationed onsite in Chantilly, Virginia, to support enterprise system development and AWS based services.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with a software development team to provide ongoing enterprise system support.
- Apply Java application integration expertise across projects.
- Deliver Java enterprise services on an AWS platform.
- Translate requirements into working, maintainable solutions within existing application frameworks.
- Oversee the product lifecycle from design through development, quality assurance, deployment and maintenance.
- Develop and follow DevOps best practices for building and deploying applications.
- Continuously contribute to team performance improvement and collaboration.
- Demonstrate creative and effective problem solving.
- Apply experience with Agile and Scrum development processes.
Requirements
- Education: BS in Computer Science or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education, certifications or work experience.
- Experience: 10+ years of relevant work experience.
- Single Page Applications using ReactJS, JavaScript, TypeScript, CSS and HTML.
- Responsive design proficiency.
- Microservices architecture experience.
- RESTful service development experience.
- Node.js proficiency.
- JVM stack knowledge including Java, Spring, Spring Boot, Hibernate, etc.
- Relational databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle knowledge.
- Maven and Gradle build tools.
- Task runners Grunt and Gulp.
- Git version control.
- Experience delivering tactical and strategic improvements to large scale Java/J2EE products.
- Ability to define system scope and objectives through research and fact finding for moderately complex information systems.
- Translate software requirements into maintainable solutions within existing frameworks.
- Experience implementing the product lifecycle: design, development, quality, deployment and maintenance.
- Knowledge of relational databases including PostgreSQL and Oracle; SQL development.
- ORM technologies such as JPA2 and Hibernate.
- DevOps practices for developing and deploying applications.
- Continual contribution to team performance and collaboration.
- Ability to solve problems creatively and effectively.
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process.
- Security clearance: TS/SCI with Polygraph.
- Location: Chantilly, VA on customer site.
- US Citizenship required.

Salary and Benefit Information
The expected salary range for this position is $158,855 to $214,921 per year. This range is not a guarantee of compensation and may be adjusted based on experience, location and contractual requirements, potentially falling outside this range.
