Deloitte’s Engineering as a Service team is seeking a Project Software Engineer II to design, configure, develop, test, and deploy Microsoft Power Platform solutions for clients. In this role, you will convert requirements into sprint-based delivery, improve existing implementations, and help support testing, release, maintenance, and sustainment activities.
Working from San Diego, CA (onsite), you will contribute to Deloitte’s Government & Public Services (GPS) practice, supporting federal, state, and local government clients and public higher education institutions through an engineering-led delivery model.
What You’ll Do
- Design, configure, develop, test, and deploy Microsoft Power Platform solutions, including Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, and SharePoint Online, with a focus on modernizing manual processes and improving operational efficiency.
- Translate business requirements into prioritized Agile backlog items and deliver capabilities incrementally across sprint cycles.
- Create implementation plans that include timelines, milestones, and level-of-effort estimates, and enhance existing solutions as client needs evolve.
- Perform functional, performance, and end-user testing, validating data quality and transfer accuracy, and support release, transition, and handoff to government-designated solution owners.
- Develop user guidance and standard operating procedures, troubleshoot production issues, implement bug fixes and minor enhancements, and support ongoing maintenance and sustainment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
- 1+ year(s) of hands-on development experience in Power Apps
- Experience developing solutions using Microsoft Power Automate, Power BI, or SharePoint Online
- Active Secret security clearance required
Preferred Qualifications
- PL-100, PL-900, or PL-600 certification
- Experience working in an Agile delivery model
- Experience supporting government clients

Salary: USD 88,600 - 147,600 per year. Experience: 1+ year(s). Education: Bachelor’s degree.
