Job Description

Overview

TAK Developer role with Booz Allen, based in Manassas, VA. As a full stack engineer, you will deliver end-to-end solutions in a fast, agile environment. This position seeks more than just coding; it aims to create a system that makes a real difference, taking software and systems from vision to production-ready state.

As a senior full stack developer, you will apply your passion to master new tools and techniques, identify necessary system improvements, and help clients tackle their toughest challenges using the latest architectural approaches, tools, and technologies. You will ensure the team’s solution aligns with the current architecture and operating environment while planning for future functionality and enhancements.

What You Bring

  • 5+ years of software development experience with object-oriented languages, including JavaScript or Kotlin
  • 3+ years of experience with PHP
  • Experience with MySQL and vSphere
  • Knowledge of the Tactical Assault Kit (TAK) ecosystem
  • Secret clearance
  • Bachelor's degree

Nice to Have

  • Experience with Android distributions and software development kits
  • Experience with mobile technologies, including cellular and wireless
  • Experience with WinTAK, TAK X, and TAK Server

Security Clearance

Applicants selected for this role will undergo a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. A Secret clearance is required.

The salary for this role is determined by various factors, including location, education, knowledge, skills, competencies, experience, contract-specific affordability, and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range is $86,800.00 to $198,000.00 per year (USD). This range represents typical compensation for the position and is one component of Booz Allen’s total package. This posting will close within 90 days of the posting date.
