Remote Machine Learning Engineer

Spotter is seeking a Remote Machine Learning Engineer to join a distributed engineering team focused on turning data into impactful features. In this role, you will develop, train, evaluate, and deploy machine learning models while collaborating with software engineers to integrate these models into production systems. This remote position is based in Lemont, Illinois, and requires at least one year of hands-on experience in the field.

Responsibilities

• Design, train, and assess machine learning models.
• Prepare and analyze datasets used for model training.
• Experiment and test to improve model performance.
• Deploy and maintain ML models in production environments.
• Collaborate with software engineers to integrate ML solutions into products.
• Monitor model performance and continuously enhance accuracy.
• Stay current with new machine learning techniques and technologies.

Requirements

• Basic understanding of machine learning concepts and algorithms.
• Experience with Python.
• Familiarity with ML libraries such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, or scikit-learn.
• Comfort working with data and writing clean, maintainable code.
• Familiarity with Git.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Good written and verbal English communication.
