Data Engineer

KBR is seeking a Data Engineer to support a government customer with data driven problem solving, analytics, and the delivery of data products and solutions to enable operations. This onsite role is based in Chantilly, Virginia, and supports a government customer in Reston, Virginia.

Requirements

• Create and implement automated approaches to optimize data and data products for presentation to senior leadership.
• Apply statistical techniques such as regression, anomaly detection, and clustering to analytical problems.
• Communicate data science activities, technical findings, and data products clearly to both technical and non technical stakeholders.
• Integrate diverse data sources, including Open Source, Publicly Available Information (PAI), Commercially Available Information (CAI), and intelligence records to produce technical data packages.
• Elicit and define system requirements, monitor progress against milestones, and evaluate test results to validate performance and acceptance criteria.
• Demonstrate the ability to design, develop, and maintain software solutions, including writing production quality code, managing version controlled repositories, and producing technical documentation.
• Bachelor of Science Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics.
• Five or more years of progressive, relevant work experience.
