Responsibilities

• Collaborate on a cross-functional team to address data challenges and solve important problems.
• Integrate data, transform insights, and build applications for operational decisions.
• Set up data feed transfers from source systems into the designated location.
• Develop transformations and derive new datasets using Spark for distributed computation.
• Monitor build progress and debug build problems to maintain reliable pipelines.
• Design applications that address operational questions.
• Execute information requests (RFIs) related to the platform’s data footprint.
• Iterate with product teams while debugging and understanding the code behind the core platform.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering (preferred)
• 3+ years of experience with Data Transformation
• 3+ years of experience with Data Engineering
• 3+ years of experience with Software Engineering
• Experience with Spark, PySpark, and/or Pandas
• Extensive experience coding/programming in Python
• Extensive experience coding/programming in Java
• Extensive experience coding/programming in TypeScript/JavaScript
• Strong understanding of algorithms and data structures as they pertain to development and problem solving
• Experience with Foundry is preferred
• Active DoD Secret Clearance required
