ArcGIS with ArcFM Support Analyst/Developer

Overview

We are seeking a contractor with strong ArcGIS development and administration skills for a 12+ month engagement with a Brooklyn, New York utility client. This is a hybrid role requiring 1-2 onsite days per month, so local candidates are preferred. ArcFM experience is mandatory.

Assignment Details

• Provide development and technical support to the ArcGIS and ArcFM based Enterprise GIS system and applications.
• Undertake development for minor enhancements using Python, Angular JS, ArcGIS Javascript API, ASP .net (C#).
• Support Landbase applications including new development and troubleshooting requests.
• Set up new ETL processes using FME Workbench.
• Deploy ArcGIS Enterprise (Portal and Server) and administer ArcGIS server sites.
• System monitoring and performance tuning of the systems.
• Publish services and administer user roles and privileges.
• Coordinate with other teams such as server support, security, DBA, etc.

Skills & Requirements

• 4-10 years of experience in administration, support, and development of ArcGIS applications.
• 3-5 years of experience in administering and supporting ArcFM applications.
• Development and coding experience using Python, Angular JS, ArcGIS Javascript API, .Net (C#).
• FME Experience: Work closely with FME Suite for GIS Landbase activities, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
• Experience deploying ArcGIS Enterprise (Portal and Server) and administering ArcGIS server sites.
• System monitoring and performance tuning of the systems.
• Publish services and administer user roles and privileges.
• Ability to coordinate with other teams like server support, security, DBA, etc.
• Ability to understand requirements and support the team while sharing best practices and lessons learned.
• Provide status updates of tickets to the client SME.
• Troubleshooting and problem resolution for end users of the enterprise applications.
• The following are not required for this position but would be considered a valuable asset in a potential candidate.
• Utility Experience (Plus): Leverage utility industry experience to enhance GIS solutions and contribute to industry-specific initiatives.
• Windows servers administration

Compensation & Location

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $70.00 - $85.00 per hour
