Lead Software Engineer - Salesforce at JPMorgan Chase, onsite in Plano, TX, with 8+ years of experience delivering secure, scalable technology within the Consumer & Community Banking group.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and troubleshoot inventive software solutions, going beyond routine approaches to solve complex technical problems.
- Deliver secure, production-grade code and participate in code reviews and debugging of peers' work.
- Identify opportunities to automate or streamline recurring remediation tasks to bolster the stability of applications and systems.
- Lead evaluation sessions with external vendors, startups, and internal teams to assess architecture, credentials, and fit for integration with existing information architecture.
- Steer communities of practice across software engineering to promote adoption of new and leading-edge technologies.
- Foster a culture that values diversity, inclusion, opportunity, and mutual respect within the team.
Requirements
- Formal training or certification in software engineering with 8+ years of hands-on experience.
- Direct experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and maintaining operational stability.
- Proficiency in automation and continuous delivery practices.
- Strong working knowledge of the full Software Development Life Cycle.
- Advanced understanding of agile methods including CI/CD, application resiliency, and security.
- Proven proficiency in software applications and processes within a technical discipline such as cloud, artificial intelligence, or mobile.
- Experience customizing Salesforce components such as objects, fields, record types, profiles, permission sets, page layouts, dynamic forms, validation rules, flows, approval processes, list views, reports, and dashboards.
- Familiarity with Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, FSC, and OMNI Channel.
- Hands-on experience with Agentforce and/or external LLM integrations with Salesforce.
- Solid understanding of Salesforce programming and administration concepts including Lightning Web Components, Aura Components, Apex, Flows, Async Apex, Custom Metadata, Triggers, SOQL, and Assignment rules.
- Knowledge of Salesforce APIs (REST API, Bulk API) and integration capabilities.
